LNC:   Legal Nurse Consultant

A Legal Nurse Consultant is a registered nurse who uses existing expertise as a healthcare professional plus specialized Legal Nurse Consultant training to consult on medical-related cases. Nowhere else can an attorney find this level of cost-effective expertise for reviewing medical records and understanding the subtleties of the healthcare system, as well as the terminology.

A Legal Nurse Consultant bridges that gap in the attorney's knowledge.

While the attorney is the expert on legal issues, the Legal Nurse Consultant is the expert on nursing, the healthcare system, and its inner workings.

In 2012, Legal RN Perspectives was certified by the founder of the legal nurse consultingprofession, Vickie L. Milazzo, the Vickie L. Milazzo Institute, and became a member of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants.
